Kokoelma: Cold shrinkable cable accessories

Cold shrinkable cable accessories are cable accessory parts formed by injecting vulcanization molding in the factory using organic elastic materials, then pre-expanding the tube through special expansion equipment, and placing the plastic screw support tube inside the tube. For field installation, these pre-expansion parts are placed at the ends or joints of the treated cables, and the support strips inside the cables are extracted so that the pre-expansion parts are automatically reset and pressed against the cable insulation. Because the pre-expansion accessories are automatically reset by elastic retraction at room temperature, compared to heat shrinkable cable accessories which need heating, it is called cold shrinkable cable accessories.
